NetWorld Solutions (now Solnet) was founded in 1997 by Sachin Shah and Dhanesh Vibhakar, two digital electronics engineers. Their goal was to provide IT solutions and services to clients.

After a decade of operation, the company decided to expand and incorporated as a private limited company in 2007. The new entity, Solnet Systems Pvt. Ltd., focused on offering integrated hardware and software solutions to medium and large-sized businesses.
